It takes time to lose weight and if you are patient enough you will be able to achieve your goal. As a kid growing up I used to be overweight and this really affected my childhood, because by the time I was thirteen years I was suffering from self esteem issues. You can not even try to imagine how gory my childhood experience was; you had to be there to see it. I can not wish someone to undergo the experience I underwent through when I was a childhood. By the time I was twenty two I had finally decided that it was time I lost my weight.
Below are some of the things you need to do in order to lose weight;
1. Cardio
If you want to lose weight you cannot afford to ignore aerobic exercises. For your diet to reach its full potential in enabling you to lose weight then you need to couple it aerobic exercises. For the aerobic exercises to be effective you should do them four times a week and each session needs to last for twenty minutes. Once the body adapts to the to the twenty minutes aerobic session you need to increase the time by five minutes consecutively until you reach forty minutes.
You need to do your cardio sessions very early in the morning just before you take your breakfast. Immediately you wake up your glycogen levels are usually very low and therefore you will be able to burn a lot of fat.
2. You need to lower your carbohydrates
You will not be able to lose fat if you do not lower your carbohydrates intake. When you lower your carbohydrates the body will have enough time to burn body fat. The body does not burn fat until it burns carbohydrates, and therefore fat can only be burned immediately if you lower your carbohydrate intake. When taking carbohydrates you should consume them mostly during breakfast and you should mix them with proteins. When you do this you will be able to jump start your day.
3. You need to start taking multivitamins
The reason why you should take multivitamins is because they will make you stronger and healthier especially since you are on diet. Since you are on diet you should not deprive the body of its essential vitamins and minerals.
4. You need to go on diet which is nutritional based
The reason why you need to go on this kind of diet and not the calorie restricted diet is because your body will not go into starvation mode. Should this occur your body will go into starvation mode. When the body is in starvation mode it starts to preserve energy and it does this by burning muscles instead of fat. Therefore you start experiencing an increase in body fat since it is not being burned.
5. You need to weight train
The whole reasoning behind weight training is to be able to increase your body muscles and in the process increase your body metabolism to burn more calories. Thus you will be able to lose weight
