Internet search giant, Google is finally ready to join the browser battle. After the latest releases by Mozilla and Microsoft, Google has launched its Web browser, Chrome.
Designed to quickly handle video-rich or other complex Web programmes, Chrome poses a challenge to browsers designed originally to handle text and graphics. Google calls the move "a fresh take on the browser" and said it will be introducing a public trial for Microsoft Corp Windows users today.
The Internet search leader is also working on versions for Apple Macintosh users and for Linux devices.
