salary decrement letters........... :) in MNC's

I'm Working for one of the MNC company.... ( great feeling u r  getting na...  )

 

WORKING LOT....  STRUGGLING LOT.... BUT no HIKS in SALRARIES.....

Its  very Pathetic Story  from TCS... 

Salary got decreased when compare to my previous year package.. this year it got DECREASED.... i think this will happen in one and only comp  name  TCS(TATA BRAND).

People will get their appraisals based on their performance .. but in TCS..  it will be  based on diffrnt categories like..  your superior, bench period, HR people( they wont give any project at the time of appraisals...   then they will say ki U R ON THE BENCH..  u will get default rating( as default rating people will get less variable pay)  Obviuos ur salary will decrease...    etc..

I have worked for 2 projects in 11months(ofcourse got appriciation mails from client side, at offshore too..   for my performance)...  but   at the time of apraisal time i was on the bench(only one month..)   i got default rating..to my surprise my salary got DECREASED...  :(

If he(TCS) would have fired... i would have search for better JOb( means better salary..)   ..   :(

Me too share the almost similar story like you friend in TCS.

For me probabaly lit'le more to add.

Here Managers don't have the respect for a Lady also.
whatever they say...those r golden words and we have to follow them.and if u suggest ur comments then you will use all words like ...i ll make sure u r out of the company(TCS)....as if we r his personal property. and he can move us anywhere...

Even they don't feel shame to shout in top of their voice and even talk in their local langauage (I am a North Indian) in front of other colleagues.

and finally comes Rating...after all these Insult and demotivation...
they will take the revenge while giving the rating for u.
they will make sure u get less and minminum rating by inflencing the GL as well.

This the culture and tradition in TCS(TATA Brand).
No respect No values No money No Promotion....

People joining TCS shld think before joining.....(a well-wisher advice)

Hey guys..

i will tell you one new arthematic... avg of two numbers...

This arthematic i hv learned from TCS guys..

usally they will give appraisals based on H1 & H2 ratings(H1 first hapf year & second half)...

i got 4 in H1 and 3.4 in H2

They will calculate our ratings as (H1+ H2)/2 .

TO my surprise(Ofcourse u will get too...) i got 2.

2 is the default rating in TCS(People who will be on the bench they will get default rating..) ... but i dont know what happend in my case.. i worked for a project and my leads have given rating as 4 & 3.4 on an AVG i got 2.

I'm not bothered about my rating yaar.... but my package got decreased.. Frown..

i think we are sailing in the same BOAT...

it was bad.please never speak bad about TCS. it is such a great company since 5 year i am with company.i am happy about work culture and appraisal. friends please appreciate the world best company be proud to be TCS employee.dear vijaya please leave the job if not like it, the company never ask you to be part of TCS.please vijayaa withdraw your statement.

i dont know why you guys are blaming TCS. idiots. people love to be in TCS. people does not know who is part of TCS.i am working for world fammous company called MicroSoft but still i am feeling that i am not part of TCS. you know how difficult to get a government job. TCS employes must have happy being such a government company.... sorry such good company.

i dont know exactly who u are..? r u wokring in TCS..??

i have just expressed my feelings.. whatever i hv written in this article ..its TRUE... i really worked hard for more than 10months... but i got the same (who will get default appraisal i.e ON THE BENCH people.. but this it got decreased..)

Not only me .. Almost all my colleagues are planning to quit the job..
This year its very bad situation...

i need to understand the company as well as the government polices due to the high inflatiom the government requested all the companies not to hike the salary. we need understand the global crisis if the companies hike the salary the inflation rate will be high because the money circulation will be more in the market.please we need to understand ....... atleast we have some job in hand wait for some day .

First, Guess this thread is a big joke. Itis quite natural for every human being to rate himself high and aspire for more. There would be cases of salary decrease based on number of external factors like market conditions, reduced projects, credit squeezee etc. I would only say that people are happy to keep their jobs today. Half of the blokes who have responded can't even express themselves properly in English. I would say they are still lucky to be in TCS.
